Repairer of the Breach

Repairer of the Breach

Will you take this on?
Will you fight?
Will you do what os right -
even while they tear at your flesh?
Will you answer the abeng of your heart
the haunting sounds of the drums
as they speak to you of what's to come?
Even when they tell you of dangers
lurking in familiar places.
Will you breach the electric fence
and break the dam
so water can flood the land
again?
Will you take that stand?
Or will you sit
drowning in your own spit
as you reach for rotting morsels of flesh?

Will you embrace your destiny?

Will you be the repairer of the breach?

Pure Faith

Pure Faith

I stand on a mountain
covered compeltely.
Unable to see
I stand still
waiting
watching,
for God's degree.
I don't know what is ahead
but I know what I left behind:
a tratious mob
shouting for my decline,
masked transient beings
who seem true and real
until you check your progress
and realise
they were always a part of your ordeals.
So here I have come
to see what I will become
when I step off the edge,
 die to fear
and live in pure faith.

Don’t Quit

Don't Quit

Just because the sun
did not shine
on you today.
Just becausethe rain
came and washed away
your way.
Just because you feel
the fear
stealing over you.
Just because your feet
are worn
walking in weary shoes.
Don't quit
don't give in
to the voice
that tries to imprison
you from within.

Blessed Life

 Blessed Life

Everything worthwhile is up hill
and the Son shines there the brightest.
A blessed life gives life,
abundantly,
continually,
without fail.
A blessed life lets you follow
a stream of comfort when you are low
and makes your faith grow and grow.
It lets you leave the darkness behind
to follow the light.
It takes you from the end
and brings you to a newness
you could never comprehend,
unless you had seen it.
Your problem meets your best life,
with your blessed life,
cries with joy and surrenders all.
At the core is the source of all life
and whatever you lose
will come right back to you.
That is a blessed life.

But For the Grace of God…

But For the Grace of God...

But for the grace of God
there go I...
Broken I am not
defeated no more
I can speak
of past disasters
that remained untold.
But for the grace of God
I can stand
after sitting in decay
to the Light I prayed
I said yes and was blessed
for I could have been like the rest
forgotten,
downtrodden,
but my weakness I confessed
and by grace finished the test.
Now I know,
but for the grace of God
there I go.

Do What is Right.

Do What is Right.

Do what is right
they say.
What does that take?

It takes a road less trodden
One less friend
to be your partner in crime
to run and play with all day.
It takes growing up
being mature
being responsible
 for the role your play.
It takes moving
forward resolute.
It means leaving everything
and everyone
to find your way.
It takes lots of tears
to wash you
and make you new.
It means a baptism of fire
and a living water
that you can glide on
to your destination.

This Feels Like God

This Feels Like God

Each raindrop falling on leaves
that gives me so much peace
and with the sun shining down on me
a light that makes me see
the hand of God.
A gentle gigle
floating in the breeze
that gets entagled with the trees
reminds me of the innocence
of one who believes
in the promises of miracles.
A gentle flowing stream
that carries the wonders of life
that washes over me
and sets me free
to grow, swell and just be free.
In a truh that never cease
For truth God holds the keys
and so because this truth I know
I say, "Yes Lord I agree".
