Wait

Wait

Now wait.
Wait,
wait the livelong day,
the steps may be shorter here
and you may fall.
you may be tired
but wait.
it's hard
when the way is cloudy
and everything seems in vain,
wait.
The waiting is hard
but wait.

You move premature
grab at straws,
fall,
into detours
that make you obscure.

Wait,
and while you wait,
pray.
